I stuck too much money into it, but it's fun to be able to play year round at anytime of the day at any course you want. I stay up on third shift life on my days off and it gives me something to do.
Update after 8-probably the worst round of the year. Smoked my tee shot 325 with help from the wind on #1. Proceeded to blade the wedge over the green, duff the third, and 3 putt for 6. And that's how the rest of the day has gone so far as well.
I don’t have a shed, I built a large garage and put it in there. It’s basically like a bigger version of that video where I park my squad car. Has heat and air so you can play year round. Not counting any of that, just the sim I probably have around $15k into it. You can go cheap or crazy expensive. I’m in the middle.
