As I age obviously distance but i find the inability to hit 3/4 good shots in a row.
Doesn’t matter driver, long/short iron, putter.
If i frick up my drive i’ll scramble for a bogey or make a bomb for par. On in regulation even on good side of hole - here comes a 3 putt.
Exactly! That’s when I think how difficult it must be for PGA players to do that on each hole, for 4 days straight. Must be mentally exhausting.
Tournament should be fun this weekend, unless Rahm runs away with it by tomorrow evening. Dude is on fire lately.

The only thing consistent in my game is my inconsistency. If I ever hit a great drive, 90% of the time I'm following it up with a duff/top/shank.

Last Sunday I went with McIlroy and Kitayama before the round started Also bet Speith to beat Homa head up so I made a little, After throwing darts at the board today I will likely wait till Sunday to wager again.
I’ve turned into a total pussy when it comes to golf betting. I did bet Spieth -110 to finish in the top 10 last week; bet placed on Sunday morning. So that was nice!
I want to like Zalatoris this week, but he hasn’t been super sharp this year. Same with Morikawa. I have zero clue who I would bet on.
I think Sat and Sun showdowns are easier to win than weeklong. I’ve been moving many of my bets there. Still will throw some lineups in the Milly Maker to avoid FOMO.

I'm hoping the weather predicted for tomorrow afternoon is somewhat of an equalizer. But that backfires sometime if they postpone play and players come back to a soft cores and destroy it.
