We did not deserve to lose this game. Bunch of flukey slop shots by OSU and refs blew calls at critical moments.
Need a players only meeting with girlfriends, too. Discuss who actually has a pair.
We didn't close the door when up by five....we deserve what we got.
This team is done, best get your mind around that fact.

No inside presence, whether it's Woody passing up shots, the team not trusting Woody to score inside or other guys not being able to finish inside. Not to mention this team, as in everyone, stands and watches when someone drives. There is little to no follow up, crashing the boards or trying to drive and dish to a weak side cutter inside.

Yeah but this team is mentally fried. They looked scared and like they are waiting for the mess up to come. Of course it inevitably comes.
Sorry bud, we deserved to lose this game because we didn't play basketball. I don't know what Iowa is playing right now but it ain't basketball.
Another fade at the end. This team does not have a power forward that can reliably battle inside and get us some points. Next year we have a bunch of power forwards and no center and no guards. Sad.
With Indiana coming in on Tuesday and finishing at Michigan, does Iowa get another win during regular season?
I said we were going to lose when we had the shot clock violation and they came down and hit the 3. You won't win many games getting outscored 12-2 to end the game. I am done planning my week around watching this team. I will DVR each game and watch it if we win. My blood pressure will be much better.
Does this team have any offensive plays for the last five minutes of a game other than the obligatory Mike Gesell isolation where he gets rejected or misses a forced layup? It NEVER works so pleas quit doing it!
As much as Baer's hustle is appreciated (limited upside) and some out there keep hoping Ellingson is going to turn it on (he won't)....those two and much of the bench is this other side to the senior-softness-coin.

We've finished strong precisely twice in six seasons. One with Gatens as a senior, one with White. I don't see a Gatens or White out there. Fran said in the preseason that they didn't have a leader. Fast forward to now and arguably they've overachieved
Couldn't agree more, I can't let this team ruin my weekends. Should have been outside enjoying the warm weather instead of watching Woody bounce the ball of his two left feet or Fran having Jok on the bench during choke time. Thank God we only have 4 games left
Carbon copy choke job of two seasons ago. This was the year boys. Unless some of these role players step up, the future is very bleak as mediocrity returns.

Purdue turned out not to be as good as advertised, mostly due to poor guard play. MSU struggled to find themselves without valentine.
So, we got a much better than expected early half of the B1G season.
They've still exceeded pre-season expectations. They're just settling back closer to what would have reasonably been expected.
Probably going to fall to a 6 or 7 seed in the NCAA tourney come selection Sunday.

All well and good. Problem is, the way we're playing right now, I don't think we can win the first round in the NCAA. The guys are playing hard but they're playing dumb. Whatever else they're doing, they can't make baskets. Name of the game is making baskets and we're not doing it. The offense we're playing the last 5 or 6 games just baffles me. I'm not sure what the point is.
2... Maybe 3 total wins before we are out done for the season.
