2deep balls thrown badly, no points with first and goal inside the 10. MSU is not owner no this game. Iowa has had opportunities to score but shoots them selves in foot. Other than the 2 early TD's our Defense has not allowed MSU to sniff the red zone since. This should be a 23-17 game right now Iowa.
Our team is not average. The talent on the team is average. Combine that with shite coaching and we are way below average. The fans reflect the level of play. In any sport. For every team.
The ball is always secure in msu hands but slippery with Iowa. It is only logical.
Terribly designed blitz! Took forever for Taylor to get there and then he just runs into a blocker and stops cold. WR is open by 10 yards in every direction. Good call!
Has miles Taylor ever gotten home on a blitz? Really not sure what that guy does other than get eaten up by blocks. Hope Snyder comes back soon

Can the Hawks get some 4th quarter magic like they did last week (before the end)? Really, Iowa needs a homer, a pick-six, a Wadley 65 yard scamper, a 50-yard bomb to Easley, something. Something.
Maybe his sophomore year when he was surrounded by studs at every other DB position, but he's been toast since the beginning of last year. Probably no better options at this point, but he is really bad now. I think Lomax covered a lot of his errors. Either that or Lomax was a better communicator than everyone after him.

I for one am looking forward to this young Iowa ball team we have! They are going to be something special. Maybe not this season but next and beyond
We need a stop here. Holding them to a field goal and keeping this a 2 possession game is essential.
