I know it is only his fifth start, but he has got to get better on the long ball asap.
Illinois looks beatable...that may be our only BIG win. Offense looks like Greg Davis is still calling plays. Defense needs to do something different. Wow....
You might be right in the sense that maybe he's been coached to err on the side of an incompletion, but damn, he's gotta take a risk some day. That's about five or six overthrows on Iowa WRs who had a few steps on the D. At least Iowa's WRs are getting separation, I guess.

Pedro Cerrano is to curve ball as Nathan Stanley is to deep ball.
The closest he has been on deep over the shoulder throw is 5 yards too far.... Not good.
Everything else has been great for the young QB
We need to rotate IKM or Young in for Wadley. It's apparent the staff doesn't TRUST them, but the redshirts have been burnt so time to mix it up.
He obviously has the arm, he has overthrown every single one of those routes, he's not even putting it into a window to give his receivers a chance. At the very least give them a chance to make a play on the ball.
Did you see that look on Wadley's face before the snap? He looked pissed and determined! He kinda gave it way, but didn't matter. Surprised that worked, though.
