Bad defensive effort and game plan today. Bell owned us last year so you would have thought they'd emphasize that. Guess not
We have zero discipline as evidenced by all the penalties and fumbles. But at least the players get to "be themselves". Sometimes you've got to be careful what you ask for. This team will be hard to watch if it continues.
So did we really put a linebacker on Bell?
He's only scored every touchdown for Purdue
Such a typical Iowa scenario. After tons of preseason optimism I feel entirely underwhelmed by the product on the field.

I think we did on offense. Defense couldn't do anything. Nixon and Gholston looked okay but the D line was very, very poor.

Iowa, the only team who knows exactly what player on the opposing team will single-handedly beat you yet not scheme to completely take him out, especially in the red zone.
