This is not good at all for the international community. This is not good for America because we will be A LOT more involved with this war as Israel is our biggest ally in the Middle East.
Timing definitely feel interesting given Russia’s close ties to Iran and Syria and their huge push to try to get West to defund war in Ukraine they started. I will also say some massive fails by Israel to be so unprepared and pantsed like this. Clearly they had become complacent and were massively blindsided. Reminds me of us 9/11.
Yeah this is a well coordinated attack where Israel is being attacked on multiple borders.

I was in O’Hare recently and noticed a big, secretive-looking screening area just for flights to Israel.
Yet militants are pulling generals out of bed in-country? I don’t get it.
Weird that no one seems to care that Iran made billions selling weapons to Russia and was just invited to join BRICS.

Only problem with this BS theory this is all somehow related to Iran having some funds released weeks ago is this operation was months in the planning. And all signs point to coordination with Iran and Russia as a means to destabilize west support Ukraine after Russia’s horrible attack and miscalculation in Ukraine. Leaders in both those terrorist states even warned of it, looking back. So the timing with all the unified Russian sponsored rhetoric to defund the war is obvious on social media and MAGA politicians is fairly obvious. Speaking of timing, I for one, have noticed your return to this board, Natty Light, also corresponded with this renewed and coordinated effort to support defunding the war after you slunk off 4-5 month into the war (after years of gargling Putin’s balls on here). Funny that.

If you want to blame Biden for this, the most true criticism is that there was a massive intelligence failure. This criticism should be applied to the Israeli defense ministry as well.

For the theory to work Iran has to have all of this planned and have the munitions already off to Gaza months ahead while promising some sort of IOU and a promise not to attack until the US lets them access some of their money so they can pay someone then attack? Doesn't really check out.

Qatar has the money. It’s been less than a month since the deal was negotiated. My guess is we’re going to claw it all back before much or any of it goes to Iran.

It’s the same logic that any business operating with Russia is funding the war in Ukraine.
We recognize money is fungible, and the more money you give them for whatever purpose gives them more money for whatever purpose they choose with whatever else they have.
