I'm not surprised when extremists are running the country. They tend to think they're unstoppable and don't make smart decisions.
I hope Israelis are paying attention when it comes to aiding Ukraine. I assume Israel has helped around the margins and sent intel, but Russia is not their friend.

Your example is nonsense. No one is forcing the Palestinians to live in the Gaza Strip. There are vast land masses around Israel that are Muslim territory if they want to live in a Muslim country, Israel is a Jewish state. The only reason Israel controls Gaza is to try and prevent the type of event as what just happened. If the Palestinians just want peace and to live and let live, they wouldn't elect Hamas to run their state.

U think the Taliban, Iranians, and Hamas actually allow normal voting. U do what your told or lose your neck. That's partly why the Israeli's were against elections in the Gaza. Things aren't black and white. The whole thing is a giant clusterfvck. Unfortunately there are no right answers just the lesser of bad ones. Which appears to be Israeli dumping Hamas from the region at all costs.

That's the problem with authoritarians. They win an election (Hamas, Putin, Xi, Maduro, Wisconsin Legislature) or otherwise seize power (Ayatollahs, Saudis, Kim), then never give it up.
