Interesting story about Israel deploying "Sponge bombs", when they go into Gaza and clear out tunnels. A plastic container has two areas, separated by a metal plate. When the plate is pulled, and the canister thrown the chemicals mix and basically explode into a mass of foam that quickly hardens. The devices will be used to seal off caves.
Bad news, however, they are hard to work with and multiple Israeli soldiers have lost their eyesight training with them.

You must be confused. There was no Israel in 1947. Also, conquest is internationally banned. You don't just get to take land because you have a military anymore. This isn't a video game. These are real people. Fathers, daughters, sons, mothers, aunts and uncles. Your view of how the world should work is dangerous.

The two state solution has been negotiated forever. Blame the radical islamists for those peace talks failing. Hamas and Hezzbollah have always been the one that screws over the Palestinian people. Which in turn has gave the world all this modern day violence.

Literally nobody has the best interests of the Palestinians at heart. If the Arab world and Western left had any actual interest in their plight, they would work for and demand isolation, overthrow and replacement of Hamas and the other Palestinian terrorist leadership. Besides the obvious fact they make a Palestinian state impossible, they are merciless dictatorships who subjugate, exploit, starve and abuse their own people.
Of course, the Israeli right want Hamas and Hezbollah in place as well, because it has totally sidelined the Israeli left who can't credibly work toward peace, and there's virtually no Western call for Palestinian sovereignty now, because the Palestinian leadership are bloodthirsty animals, and they've ensured a poisoned culture of an anti-Semitic death cult among Palestinians.
Those who "support Palestine" should be directed 100% toward freeing the Palestinians from a ruling group of terrorists who decimate their own people while living in luxury in Qatar. But who is trying to do that?
I'm all for exerting pressure on Israel toward a two-state solution, as the U.S. has done in the past. But until there is a leadership in Palestine with actual political goals and will recognize Israel's right to exist...I 100% support Israel's right to defend itself and try to wipe out Hamas.

Listen to me closely. In 1947 the UN came up with a plan to divide the area into 2 states. Kinda of a 2 state solution you might say. As soon as Britain and the UN turned over these areas to the Palestinians and the Israelis, Israel declared independence. The Arabs attacked them, otherwise known as, declared war. The Israelis defeated them. After the war was over did you expect the Israelis to say ‘no harm no foul for that war thing’ and just give them back the land? The land that the Palestinians were granted and launched war from?
You don’t get it. They lost. It isn’t their land. Now if they want to declare war, take territory and win it back then have at it. I’ve grown weary of this Palestinian land trope. They’d still have that land and maybe living in peace with Israel but for that world changing decision decades ago. Too f big bad. I couldn’t give 2 shits about the Palestinians. F’ing losers.
Grow a set, kick out your terrorist leaders or jail them, make peace with Israel, form a real country with a real government, acknowledge Israel’s right to exist and create a society that fits in with the rest of the civilized world. That’s the actual answer.

Yeah except that's not how it works. You don't win a war and get to keep the land and if you do it's a war crime. Palestinians have a right to return that Israel is denying them thus committing international crimes by every definition of the term.
It's funny you talk about the civilized world yet somehow believe conquest is a still a thing. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone was just allowed to win land by sheer force. What is stopping anyone from taking over your property because they have more guns or are bigger than you? It would be a very uncivilized world we'd be living in.
