The East Rutherford Jets visit Miami Gardens today in a showdown with the Dolphins at 1 p.m. eastern time, allegedly on CBS, but not here at Tradition Manor.
Last week was a tale of two surprising second halves.
After a scoreless first half, the Jets came alive in their game against Houston scoring 30 points after the intermission.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins blew a two TD lead with 3 minutes left in the loss against Tennessee.
Miami won the first meeting three weeks ago 34-13 but these seem like different teams today.
The Dolphins have more injuries than a decent-sized emergency room, and the Jets have Zach Wilson back (who earned AFC Player of the Week honors based on that second-half shellacking of the Texans last week).
According to ESPN analytics, If Miami wins today (and the Bills lose) then the Dolphins have a 91 percent chance to win the AFC East. However, if the Dolphins lose and the Bills win, that drops the percentage to 54 percent. Ouch.
Weather Report: Mostly sunny with highs around 77 degrees, but very BREEZY with west winds howling around 20 mph.
