My biggest frustration with the Petras/Padilla thing at this point is that they never even tried Padilla. Obviously, I don't want to be a victim of the moment, but I don't know how a staff of coaches and talent evaluators thought the gap between them was so wide that Padilla couldn't get a single snap when Petras was 17-32 with 4 interceptions against Purdue and only played against Wisconsin in the depths of garbage time (Down 3+ Scores with Under 10 Minutes to Play).

Yup, if not for a Petras injury we would have never seen Padilla this season…😕
