with a nearly 100 year old stadium at some point we will need a new one. But honestly I cant think of where it would be. There is no space near campus. And tearing down Kinnick and rebuilding seems unlikely because there is no where to temporarily play during construction
When is the last time we converted a 3rd and 10+. That was almost solely due to Padilla stepping up in the pocket and sucking up the linebackers. Nice pass, nice catch

Petras could only dream of making the last throw Padilla made.
I like Iowa's chances hete. Much more balanced game, and Parker will get the D fixed.
Padilla must look like hot garbage in practice to be considered by the coaches as the 2nd stringer to Petras.
Absolutely criminal Petras played for so long and started at Wisconsin, what do the coaches watch during practice?

Years ago, there was discussion of building a new stadium further west on Melrose, closer to Hwy 218. I have no idea if that's still a viable plan.
