If you prefer Hesse over Epenesa, you're the one that doesn't know shit about DL play. Numbers don't lie. Epenesa will be a top 10 pick while Hesse will be picking his nose.
there was a comment about how next years team will be as bad as this year with the LB'rs Iowa has coming back. so I pointed out who is coming in.
but to refresh your memory about some of the returning players
DE Eppey was a US Army AA Leads the team in Sacks
RT Wirfs was a US Army AA starting
DT Linderbaum red shirting
incoming LB Jacobs coming in January
now if Jacobs and Liderbaum are half as good as Eppy the defense will be a great defense.
Not missing Fant again would have been nice. But I agree, this is absolutely the drive Iowa needed.

If you think Hesse is not good or AJ is a significantly better overall DL, you aren't very bright.

Probably....although we lost the time of possession battle last week by quite a bit, and, umm.....63-0.
But yeah...keeping Nebraska's O on the sideline is a good thing, because Martinez >>>>>>Bush.
Will be nice to see if Martinez is a little nervous in the pocket after their last series.
