Bingo. It was not a smart call. Not sure that was a good idea. Why risk turning momentum? Being up 3 scores is much better than 2.

A typical "reasonable" response. Flip the script and if that happened to a Hawkeye and not been called you would've lost your shit.Nope. Screw off
God this coaching staff is beyond STUPID and are going to cost us this game!
Because the defense is playing well.
No they're not!God this coaching staff is beyond STUPID and are going to cost us this game!
Not a fumble...
Wow Frost has some balls
Not if they turn the ball over.....They;re going to march down and score
God dammit
It's not about it being a slide or not, it's about it being a late hit. He was already on the ground when he was hit and in the head/neck area at that. There is no slide protection on that fake anyway. Guy is a RB out of kick formation. Total BS call.
he will be next season, but I still expect them to rotate him in and out to keep him fresh all season.I'd be good with AJ being a full time starter.
Why don’t you just say you’re a closet Husker fan? It’s SOOOOO obvious!

I would have rather iowa used two running plays if they were just going to go for it.

I hate ticky tack calls that have become prevalent in football the past several years but that to me was a late hit. Granted I'm a bit biased, but had a Husker done that to a Hawkeye I would have probably viewed it in the same light.
Or just a late hit. There are plenty of better examples of football being pussified than that.He didn't get a slide in any way, was doing some kind of sideways dive laydown. Defender was in a good tackling level and runner lowered at last second. The pussification of football
no he was not down as he was still off the ground. to be down your knee or ass needs to hit the field 1st before it can be a late hit. It's not about it being a slide or not, it's about it being a late hit. He was already on the ground when he was hit and in the head/neck area at that.
