***Official Nebraska @ Iowa Game Thread***

We made real progress earlier in this year playing more defensive backs to cover TEs, RBs, etc. in passing downs. For whatever reason we've reverted back to requiring 3 LBs on the field at all times no matter what.

Now we'll go into clock burning mode. Fantastic.

no he was not down as he was still off the ground. to be down your knee or ass needs to hit the field 1st before it can be a late hit.

but hey Nebraska has been getting away with holding all game long.
I wholeheartedly disagree with your opinion that he wasn't down as when watching the replay it appeared as he already was on the ground and the hit was unnecessary, hence the penalty is termed "unnecessary roughness". But I guess common sense isn't so common these days so I can understand why you're a bit confused.

We got ourselves a ballgame! That is if our defense can make a stop or better yet get a turnover. The former probably won't happen and I would almost be willing to bet the latter definitely won't. One way to find out though...

Wow....BF?

We have the best two TEs in college FB. Please keep them in mind next series.

BF did the same thing against NW and Wisconsin with leads in 4th quarter—ultra conservative
