Great opportunity for Joe W to take a charge or even show the slightest interest or understanding of weak side defense on that Nance drive from 3 point land to rim for a dunk. Nope. Stand exactly where he was and not move 1 inch. He never gets mentions when it comes to our bad defense, but he is absolutely terrible off the ball.
we are experts at making guys look better than they really are
Hopefully he keeps going off (against everyone except Iowa). And leaves for the NBA.
I'm impressed
Hell I'd rather see Austin Ash guard Nance, instead of Luka.
I love him on the offensive side of the floor, but Luka is way overmatched most nights on the other half of the court.
Over 50 percent from 2 and from 3 but we aren't getting to the line. Only 3 turnovers though another bright point.
In two seasons Iowa will start seniors Joey T and CJ and juniors Ke Murray and P McC. That might be the best combination of defenders Iowa has floored in decades.

Can't argue with that.
If Fran would start pulling players for bad D instead of fouls it would have a big impact on that kind of effort.
