This one is not a surprise. I doubt he even flew with the team back to Wisconsin.
Michigan tampering is the least surprising thing everMichigan bound is the word.
I don't believe you. Prove it.that's not the first. it's not even the second.
Central Michigan?Hamiti listed as Do Not Contact.
The only question is is he replacing Amine or Griffith. How do you know where you are going 24 hours after the tourney finishes if nobody contacted you illegally beforehand is my rhetorical questionHamiti listed as Do Not Contact.
crazy how that works. 1 day after and he’s transferring and knows where. Seems totally legit. The only question is is he replacing Amine or Griffith. How do you know where you are going 24 hours after the tourney finishes if nobody contacted you illegally beforehand is my rhetorical question
Maybe he’s got schools in mind already and doesn’t want 75 calls. Or he’s only looking at certain graduate schools. The only question is is he replacing Amine or Griffith. He is currently a sophomore correct?Maybe he’s got schools in mind already and doesn’t want 75 calls. Or he’s only looking at certain graduate schools.
He is currently a sophomore correct?
I read somewhere he’d be a graduate transfer. Regardless doesn’t have to b tampering. I’d assume he knows whether he wants to wrestle 165 or 174 and what schools he’d want to go to that could offer NIL.He is currently a sophomore correct?

Maybe. In the era of NIL, you'd think you'd want to entertain free agency for longer than 1 day.
Unless that isn't his priority. I'm sure at least a few still feel that way.In the era of NIL, you'd think you'd want to entertain free agency for longer than 1 day.
Cardenas went in last window.I don't believe you. Prove it.
you doing a show on this coming up??Cardenas went in last window.
so did Wolak, who committed his final year to Tech.
then there is Connor McGonigal who won AS Classic but lost wrestle off to Crookham.
(Hawks should kick the tires on that imo)
anyway...that's three prior
That would be the best move they could make to improve their team.bono getting fired is the word
I was talking with some Wisconsin fans/boosters this weekend at the tourney. They are still upset Bono was hired over Askren (he was being considered). Especially since Bono was pretty much on his way out at SDSU.bono getting fired is the word

I think there is a lot of tampering and illegal contact going on with the way the portal is anymore. This goes for basketball and football too, not just wrestling. It really is the wild west anymore. He contacted them, maybe?

I like both, but can Alvarez still make 141, and can McGonagle still make 133? Both are AA caliber at their lower weights, but neither has done it before, and both are going into their sixth year. Two more potential fringe AAs. I suppose if the alternatives are Schriever and Matthews...How about Alverez and Mcgonagle to start
The Opening day for the Transfer portal is a lot like Black Friday for the Bigger teams to go shopping and buy up all the good guys to fill spots in their line ups. It will be the ruination of college sports as the smaller schools with a lessor market will be developing the talent and then watch it go down the road to someone who has WAY MORE CASH and there is very little the small schools can do to stop it from happening. These big schools will keep cherry picking the best talent from the small schools and eventually when budgetary cuts need to be made at the small schools wrestling will be among the 1st to get cut... remember what effect Title IX had on mens wrestling back when it was established as the law.
We like fringe AAs. They’re right in our wheelhouse.I like both, but can Alvarez still make 141, and can McGonagle still make 133? Turning 2 team points into 6 or 7 😎We like fringe AAs. They’re right in our wheelhouse.
Congrats to Nasir Bailey for becoming Littke Rock’s 1st ever AA and putting that program on the map.Hopefully some news on Bailey and Little (Little Rock) soon.
There's a big misconception about Do Not Contact. It means teams can't reach out to him. It doesn't mean he can't talk to a ton of teams. He will, or already has, contact every team is interested and they can all recruit him. It doesn't mean that's he's 100% set on where he's going, even if he knows where he wants to be right now.In the era of NIL, you'd think you'd want to entertain free agency for longer than 1 day.
