These tournament games are not being officiated to suit Iowa’s style. Apparently the NCAA prefers 50 point football style games.

Considering the SC didn't seed the Hawks as a 4 - which they more than deserved after the past 5 weeks and then winning the BTT vs 3 straight NCAA tourney teams - then podding Iowa in Milwaukee or hell, even Indianapolis, is the least they could have done.

The Killer for the Moc Fans is that the refs failed to call an obvious goal tend in the first half which was the difference in the game...I think Kofi had even slammed the backboard too - not sure how in the heck NONE of the zebras saw it either...

Watching this Michigan St v Davidson game, and I can't root for either.
Not Michigan St, because Izzo and how his working the refs has screwed us over in a big way, multiple times, in the past.
And not Davidson, because they choked in the A10T final and thus let Richmond steal a bid and used the chance to upset my Hawks yesterday. (incredibly petty, I know, but I'm a sore loser)

You know what really pisses me off?
IF ISU holds on to this, and Wisconsin plays their worst game possible on Sunday - or gets upset tonight vs Colgate - that means ISU would not only play in Milwaukee in the two opening rounds, but would also reach the Sweet 16 and get to play in Chicago!

It's becoming obvious the refs in the tournament aren't calling it much different than the B10 refs did. They're letting a lot of physical play go unchecked.
Fail to see how the two situations - Richmond and LSU's - were remotely similar, but whatever.

A team that scored less than 45 points twice in the month of March is in the round of 32. Unbelievable.
I think the point of the poster was that the situations weren’t similar, but one team took advantage of their opportunity while the other took a massive dump.
Well, one of the hottest teams in the country lost in the first round to the Richmond Spiders (12 seed) and ISU, who floundered and looked embarrassed in their conference tourney won their 1st round game against a power 5 team in LSU.
We lost to the Richmond Spiders. We have a lottery pick, and lost to the Richmond..................Spiders in the 1st round.
Just shut the **** up and move on, because the Hawks are one of the embarrassments of the tournament.
