So, poor d, no driving finishers, and high scoring. The typical Fran team...seen it.
Long season, room for improvement , still up 20 or more most of second half , still plenty to work on
Overall athleticism of this team is still bad and same problems exist with rebounding and probably defense, if Iowa is not hitting threes against decent competition they are in trouble
Gave up 12 offensive rebounds to sisters of the poor. Need more emphasis on defensive rebounding Fran!
Another team of mostly white guys being out-athleted by more skilled athletes/basketball players.

I wanna say "it was just the first game, can't draw a whole lot of conclusions from it", but still, when you're playing a team so bad that I'd never even heard of the school before and were favored by 30.5 ....

It'll be the same Fran team as always.
Borderline tourney team, no real defense, bunch of tall white guys shooting 3s.
They'll look bad through December, pretty good in January, start sputtering out in late February.
The same tried and true formula that produces slightly above average results year after year.
