One weight solved – Iowa looks for answers at 141 and 165 at Midlands

Thanks, Ross.

I don't think I'm alone in the thought that Rhoads is the best option for 165 and if both go to the Midlands I'm thinking that gets proven on the mat.

141 is a tough guess. Kinda depends who Brands takes. I wonder how many true freshmen he will take this year. I would think Turk and Kemerer deserve to go the most, but has any upperclassman like a Bowman or St. John been earning it in the room where we fans aren't seeing results? Who knows.

Seems like their are 18 good guys to pick and probably only 15 spots.

I'm with ya, Jay. Rhoads has been my favorite at 165 and I think he gets the nod. I think it's between Carton and Grothus at 141. Even if Carton does better next week at Midlands I still think we'll see Grothus get a few looks during duals to really solidify things. What I'm saying is I don't think we'll have a solid answer at 141 unless Grothus destroys the field.

Hard to believe no snow on the ground here in southern mn and Christmas only 3 days away.
Even have some robins in my yard and one was talking to me. He said "watch that Turk kid at
Midlands" he will be in the running for 141. Also he made a comment which might upset some that
Brody not quite ready to go yet. Now can we believe a talking robin?

Hope it wasn't Robin Jackson...

Anyone know when the decision on Midlands participants has to be made? I assume it has to be done soon for presides to done.
