Easily. The bubble is also đź—‘ to boot..Honestly do they deserve to be in the NCAA? Last year absolutely but this year

I wish it wasn't true because im sick of being the worst defensive team in the league every stinking year but the thing about being great at half of the game is you're going to win plenty of games. This
Thst 7fter would need to be a 3pt threat because you can't have 2 non shooting players on the court together.Always have wondered if we had a shot blocking 7 footer with Rebraca playing the power forward what the team would have been like.
Honestly, I'd actually prefer that.Knowing our luck the Hawks will play the first game Thursday, lose, and be the first team out. The tournament will be over for us fans by 1:00 CST.
What fun.
Let's hope not!
Would like to see them bypass teams with this many losses and give more bids to mid majors with 25+ wins. Iowa, Michigan, Penn St, Wisconsin, and Rutgers don’t belong in the tournament.Honestly do they deserve to be in the NCAA? Last year absolutely but this year
Yes we can!Thst 7fter would need to be a 3pt threat because you can't have 2 non shooting players on the court together.
You want to fire a guy who is about to make fifth consecutive NCAA tourney? No more Murrays to carry most of the burden.
I would guess we are sub 0.500 in B1G play next year and miss NCAA tourney. No worries, long leash for Fran before there is a hot seat.
Why reward teams that play terrible teams? Shouldn’t schedule strength matter at allWould like to see them bypass teams with this many losses and give more bids to mid majors with 25+ wins. Iowa, Michigan, Penn St, Wisconsin, and Rutgers don’t belong in the tournament.
Some of them are actually decent teams and could hold there own against better competition. Teams that run through their conference easily and have a rare off night in their conference tournament get left out. I’d like to see a few of them get a shot instead of a 14 or 15 loss team out of a major conference. Why reward teams that play terrible teams? Shouldn’t schedule strength matter at all
Well that is about two hours earlier than last year. Sure takes the fun out of Thursday night and Friday.Knowing our luck the Hawks will play the first game Thursday, lose, and be the first team out. The tournament will be over for us fans by 1:00 CST.

Well Connor can play 30 plus minutes with bad D and no shooting.Thst 7fter would need to be a 3pt threat because you can't have 2 non shooting players on
Maybe we are not as good as everyone thinks we are at shooting. Live by the 3 die by the 3.4 of 17 from 3. These are starting to become more of the norm.
McNeal had one in the corner and Conner just stood there and watchedThe wide open 3 pointers, especially in the corner, have to stop. Get rid of the ****ing zone, play man, switch on screens and help and drives. It's not that hard. Replay shows a bunch of perpetually confused kids pointing at each other with their backs turned to the corner.
You sure? I don't think that was Connor. McNeil had 3 three-pointers. Pat was late on rotation on two, and Rebraca was on the switch on another.McNeal had one in the corner and Conner just stood there and watched
CMAC and whoever else that was on the court that couldn't shoot breaks that rule.Thst 7fter would need to be a 3pt threat because you can't have 2 non shooting players on the court together.
It's sad that I'm hoping Iowa gets the late game Friday so I can at least enjoy the first 2 days of the Tournament before they let us down again.Knowing our luck the Hawks will play the first game Thursday, lose, and be the first team out. The tournament will be over for us fans by 1:00 CST.
What fun.

and hold the other team under 100I'm afraid this team has only one way to win - shoot 40% from 3.

I said there was a long leash for Fran. What part about long leash is unclear? You want to fire a guy who is about to make fifth consecutive NCAA tourney?
They allowed osu to play slow in the 1st half instead of playing uptempo for the entire game.
1-1 in the NCAA tournament.Shout out to those that have stuck it out over this rollercoaster of a season. Never seen such a Jekyll and Hyde team.
Maybe we can taste victory just one more time.... Not asking a lot.

Those guys would be positionless in todays game and could guard very few players.Basketball has changed. Kris is our PF and is set to be our second 1st round selection in two years when Iowa hasn’t had a 1st rounder since Ricky back in 97. I don’t think recruiting “big nasty PFs” is our problem. No shit. Fran's refusal to recruit a big, nasty PF like Horton, Evans, or Thomas is one of my biggest frustrations. This ain't Sienna, it's the B1G.

Who's like Reggie Evans or Ed Horton in the big ten?Every damn team in this league has one. Fran's first requisite is shooting the ball; you need a diverse set of talents to win, and rebounding and rim protection will always be needed.
Kind of feel same way. It's sad that I'm hoping Iowa gets the late game Friday so I can at least enjoy the first 2 days of the Tournament before they let us down again.
Completely agreeHonestly, I'd actually prefer that.
IF they are going to lose their first game - which, very sadly is a very real possibility - I'd rather get it done and over with ASAP.
Hawks deserve to be put in an 8/9 game. Committee would be doing them a huge non-deserved favor to drop them down to a 10.
We are the best offense in the league and have been conistently over the past five years. Why would we want to change anything we do on that end of the floor?Every damn team in this league has one. Would love if Rebraca could play one more year for us. He's been a consistent stud all season. But I think Dix has a really bright future, and I think Sandfort is a keeper (hoping for more consistency in his 3s).I’d trade another year of eligibility for Rebraca for the entire roster.
Connor shoots 33% from three. Kris and Tony both shoot 34%. Peyton shoots 35%. Not as much difference as you might surmise. You try to be optimistic then your quickly slapped back into reality watching Connor McCaffery drilling the side of the rim and backboard on his 3 point attempts.
