Why do Dems act like they're against tax cuts? Remember the Bush tax cuts? Obama and the Dems railed against them, calling them "the most destructive thing Bush ever did to the country". Then he got elected, had every vote needed to end them, and what did he do? He continued them.

That’s because tax increases are politically toxic. They talk a good game but when it comes right down to it are reluctant to pull the trigger.

Kind of like abortion…R’s could rail against for years but had Roe to hide behind.

The sc tossed roe and they were politically screwed.

I like how when politicians are talking to the President of NATO ally Hungary he is "is actively interfering in domestic politics", but when politicians talk to the President of Ukraine...?

How about we see a progress report from Ukraine. Let see a general plan for the future, and how long they think this will last. Let's see an accounting for what they've used so far and spent so far. Let's not be doing stupid stuff like paying for their pensions.
