Oregon obviously didn’t deserve a bye in the CFP…

That Pac12 defense showing up and showing out.

Oh wait…
Oregon playing like Iowa at a Rose Bowl
#4 for OhioSt is McCaffery
Never forget that ugly embarrassing ass kicking … Our D is elite going to kill that qb
Hawk O too physical for PAC 10 puzzy D

And boom Mighty Mouse scores 4 TDs in 5 plays and Stanford D beat Beathard like a rag doll
Thank god Stanford coach called of dogs mid 2nd quarter or they would scored 100 pts

Hello fellow Iowa fans .I am definitely an Iowa fan here…I’m not a Nebraska fan yes yes.

I think teams that played in the cakewalk round last week heavily benefitted from getting rid of the rust in a non-threatening contest. It was almost like the non-conference portion of the season. The teams with byes all started off slow. Boise and Arizona St. were able to crawl back into it a bit, ASU more so than Boise. Oregon got some offensive production the last 3/4 or the game, but were buried too deep. I don’t know that any outcome would be different at this point, but I do think the long layoff for the top four is more worrisome than playing one of the last four in the week before.

$24 million payroll for Ducks and $20 million for Buckeyes---that is at the top of NIL payrolls isn't it? They both got their money's worth in talent.

Something to look at as well…

So far the 3 teams who had a bye…all lost. Guess we will see tomorrow about Georgia. But. Makes you wonder about the seeding.

I told ya Ohio State is on a mission, and it won't end until they've destroyed Texas, which deserves a stomping, and won the national title. The best team money can buy is gonna prove it, and pity the poor fools who get in their way.
If the truth be known, Oregon, Texas and a few others have actually spent more NIL than OSU. They just haven't let the figures out. The 2 Texas QBs are pulling in around $9 to 10 million together. And God only nows how much Phil Knight has given Oregon. And didn't TAMU spend several millions just a couple years ago? That Texas oil many goes a long way

I didn't say OSU spent the MOST money. I said they have assembled "the best team money can buy." Others may have spent more, but nobody has the talent Ohio State has. So let's see how it goes the rest of the way.

BTW: Ohio State led Iowa 7-0 at the half this year. They led Oregon 34-8.

Committee pandered too much giving ASU and Boise St byes.

I would basically seed based on likely Vegas spreads.

The committee didn’t have a choice in the matter when it comes to byes. Clemson would have been the only real other option for a bye and it looks like the committee got this right with their four byes.

The seeding was jacked up, but that’s because of the CFP rules set in place, not the committee.
