I don't think he was more talented than Shayok.
Ok but the point still stands. He kept one of the 2 most talented guys on the team out of the starting lineup once he was completely healthy.

Hah, Prohm managed to keep this quiet during the season.

The Ames PD must have Prohm’s number on speed dial too just like they did for Saint Hoiberg.
Stuff like this seriously pisses me off. You either have journalists who refuse to cover negative news, or a combination of law-enforcement iand administration keeping things quiet.
Why would any of that piss you off?
You mean like Jok cruising around on his moped? https://www.hawkcentral.com/story/s...ys-in-jail-related-to-prior-charges/15846441/I’m just saying, I highly doubt this would have happened at iowa
Oh that's comparable, and he played the same, too. Right. LOL!You mean like Jok cruising around on his moped? https://www.hawkcentral.com/story/s...ys-in-jail-related-to-prior-charges/15846441/
He spent 4 days in jail for riding on a suspended license and violating his probation for an OWI. THT made a mistake and Jok made a mistake and they both ran afoul of they law.Oh that's comparable, and he played the same, too. Right. LOL!
You have to be joking...He spent 4 days in jail for riding on a suspended license and violating his probation for an OWI. THT made a mistake and Jok made a mistake and they both ran afoul of they law.

The charges were filed on 5/13 after Wal Mart reviewed some security tape for some reason. Had they been filed in March, I would wager the story would have broken in March. Restitution that he was ordered to pay was $15.93.Stuff like this seriously pisses me off. I have no idea what took them so long. It may have taken that long to realize who he even was. Or maybe it takes that long for police to get around to dealing with a $15 shoplifting bust? Who knows. But it took only a few days for the media to report it once it was public record.I can the charges were filed in 05/13 but what took them so long since the security tapes were reviewed and the incident reported back in February?
The charge stems from a February incident at Walmart on Duff Avenue, according to Jason Tuttle of the Ames Police. Walmart contacted police Feb. 18 about the incident, which occurred Feb. 3, after reviewing surveillance footage of the store’s self-checkout due to an unrelated matter, Tuttle said.
I never thought he had a chance of getting drafted but maybe there’s a few teams that were towards the bottom in steals that will take a chance on him.

THT played in every game, even after the staff knew what he did. No penalty, no punishment, nada, in fact he averaged over 26 min/game from the time his crime was reported on. This was not even made public until THT left IA State. That's probably why he got charged - if he were still at pen st, odds are this would have been swept under the rug like all the other stuff that happens to the criminal-athletes in ames.Joking about what?
About being an Iowa fanJoking about what? You have to be joking...

He was charged with stealing a 16 dollar item from Wal Mart. You want it on CNN or something? Geesh talk about over reaction. Hopefully he don't get a speeding ticket and have no journalists write about it. You might lose it.
pen stateLOL!
Now a football player is charged with the same crime for $7 worth of merchandise.

Here’s a thought, quit stealing shit
Rumor has it Prohm has reached out to Liangelo Ball being he was impressed with his quick hands while swiping goods in China.
Horton Tucker is getting drafted and it will likely be in the 1st round.
I wouldn't be so sure. Shoplifting $8 worth of stuff isn't a big deal but he already had some question marks in regard to his work ethic. This only adds to his character concerns. He has big upside, but will it ever be realized?

Do you think the PD called Prohm and told him they were charging someone maybe in 2 months? Honest question.
