Not that I'm sad about it, but Alabama just got screwed. That was a terrible call.
Really bizarre, especially considering how often they fail to identify and throw a flag when there actually is a covered receiver downfield or five in the backfield. The tight end was covered, but he stayed in pass pro so that didn't matter.
I am shocked just how many mental mistakes Alabama is making in the first year without Saban. This does not bode will for the future of the Tide.

Clones are going to piss their game away. Their RedZone play calling and execution is every bit as bad as Iowa's.
Playing at Wyoming is pretty tough. They're at 7,200' elevation.

Well that’s just bias, those kind of loses have happened 100 times this year to teams as good or better than Iowa 🤷♂️

Amarillo is higher than Boise by almost 1000 feet.
He was still in the pocket and there wasn't a receiver in the area. Textbook grounding.

Meh… you used to be able to throw the ball 500 yards out the back of the end zone and it not be grounding
