edit...The B1G allows basketball games to break out at rugby matches. It's been a problem for many years.

Happens everywhere. Same guys are reffing games all over the country. Nothing is specific to a certain conference.

There is starting to be some separation between the top 7 and bottom 7 teams in the B1G.

The battles this weekend for positioning for the 2, 3 & 4 slots for the B1G Tournament are going to be sweet.

Big East is pretty good this year. 3rd best conference. UConn ripped thru their non-con undefeated with some really good wins. They had a lull in January losing 4 Q1 road games. I think their NET is a little inflated at 8 but I wouldn't want to catch them in March.

Partially because of turnovers, partially because Edey doesn't get any calls and teams are mugging him, begging the refs to call, but they won't. Go look at the last two Purdue games, and the iu vs nu game, and watch the iu vs Illinois game today and tell me those were called similarly. Nu played red rover with edey on free throws. Maryland just held his arms so he couldn't rebound. It's inconsistent and bad.

But i agree, Purdue pissed away those two games.

I don't have anything personal against Rutgers, I just want as little competition as possible for those 2-3-& 4 BTT seeds.

Screw Illinois, so that result works, but screw Indiana too. Half a win.


CBB is so weird this year. Saw a bracketologist prediction last night that had Iowa as a 6-seed, and they would face the play-in winner of a game between Kentucky and North Carolina.

While super funny, that would be the ultimate kick in the nuts to have Iowa facing either of those teams as the higher seed in the 1st round and end up losing to them. That would suuuuuuck.

I don't see why they can't make the final 4 if they call edey like they did in non-con. Actually allows Purdue to run their offense.

I'd guess he test, idk if he comes back or not. If he comes back, Purdue will be really good next year. If he doesn't. Purdue will just be good, but look different. Be able to run. That's a team you wish you could have ivey on, where you can play 5 out.
