It's the new Gen Z arithmeticAlso, what's up with the time and score keeping the last few years? Is no one smart enough to do this accurately anymore????
I was at HS basketball game the other day and the shot clock operator accidently reset the clock. Then when the time was 9 seconds, they hit the buzzer b/c it should have been enough time. Refs talked about it and said it was fine. So no, no one seems able to clocks for sporting events. It's the new Gen Z math

For f sake, we’re not wrestling PSU; this is UTC. We shouldn’t be getting our asses kicked regardless of who we’re starting! I mean how many top 25 guys have we faced? One? We look really really bad! Wonder if this is why Tom didn’t come? Cause he knew about the oncoming sh+t storm!?!
We can’t hope for stall calls anymore. For some reason calling stalling seems to be frowned upon. I hate it. More frequent stall calls should lead to more wrestling. I don’t understand this change in referring philosophy, yet they’ll tell the wrestlers that they need more action. Well, hit them with a stall and you’ll get more action. The ref could help the action if he was a little more free with that stalling fist.
Not many shots and finishes but at least on team is trying.
"Really impressed with Heck's defense". <I thought he might add, "that's growth for my son"
To be fair Real also had 14 NF points. While those aren't TDs they are certainly important points. The other four guys, WOOF4 total takedowns through 5 matches. 2 by “Cole” Siebrecht as the espn+ announcer says. 1 for Real, and 1 for the 133 Chatt wrestler.
That’s not good enough for Iowa wrestling. I know we have backups in but that was a tough 1st half to stomach.
Oh I’m discounting Real. Points are points, but 4 takedowns through 5 matches I think speaks to the quality of wrestling through the first half of the dual.To be fair Real also had 14 NF points. While those aren't TDs they are certainly important points. The other four guys, WOOF
That’s what she said.Early in my marriage to Mrs. V (no pics) when I found myself in a hole, my strategy was to keep digging. One Thanksgiving of memory, the menfolk were busy sawing, chopping and hauling firewood for my house. As it turned out we were late to Thanksgiving dinner (like an hour) and the wives were NOT happy. Each husband in the truck took an irate phone call. After four such calls, I suggested we stop at a bar for a drink or two. My brother explained that we couldn't stop because his wife (no pics) was upset. I explained that my logic as this. My wife was already mad and this was the perfect time to do other stuff b/c she can't get twice as mad. It's like "free" misbehavior (w/in reason).
It doesn't help that he is extremely limited. Either he's not strong enough, not athletic enough or not good enough. When the mini-drama with ADS happened last January and CS was put in the lineup I hoped we might actually have a guy who would take the baton from Austin and continue that aggressive, in your face style. No.Iowa has been far more aggressive on their feet. Cullan outshot his opponent comfortably. And only picked up two stall calls. Cullan can not seem to beat the crotch lock after he gets on a shot. That defense has stymied him all year.
I lost count but Pk is leading haha. I love his style and his pace. If you want to wear down your opponent, get to your offense. Wrestling Pk is a full time job. Bring your lunch box! What's our takedown count at now?
