PD3 Goes at Schwab

Am I the only one who isn't at all bothered by Schwab saying this stuff? I think it's hilarious/awesome and hope in 2 years Tom gets sick of it, goes to West Gym for a dual, shut them out, and they continue to fade into obscurity.
What all did I miss about why the beef between Doug and Tom outside of this not wrestling each other? Or is that it?
I certainly don't want them to fade into obscurity, but I have no problem with what he tweeted. Only those who want to be angry were angered by it.
I personally don't think that insulting ex-Hawkeyes is harmless trash talk or banter, especially when they went to a school that will give them good opportunities under another Hawkeye.
Ask the coaches at Iowa Central how they feel about PD3. He deserved the consequences at NE, but not those at ISU.
Move. On. He's at the best wrestling program in the history of college wrestling with a chance to check a box, move on.

For those of you who think he wasn’t taking a shot at Iowa, I got some beach front property to sell you. It’s a great deal, once in a lifetime!
Because acting like Iowa won’t wrestle UNI is such a huge dig. I’m sure Tom and wrestlers are all shaking, begging Barta not to put them on the schedule. Even if intended to be a dig, it’s a slight one at best, and definitely not harmful. Feels like being a bit over blown.
I’m not saying it was harmful but to act like he wasn’t intending for it to be a dig at Iowa is naive at best.
PD3 has no room to talk here he is not iowa trained wrestler. Yes he's working out HWC but that's not the same as college room. PD3 can speak for the hawks after March. Doug did a lot for Iowa wrestling. Doug just wants all three instate colleges to wrestle each other and everyone has chance to host. I don't think it's any more complicated than that
In wrestling we will kill them every time. Just don’t have Tom or Terry challenge Doug to a Homerun Derby. My money could be on Schwab.
If UNI wants to host Iowa, they’re going to have to do it in an appropriate venue.
I graduated from UNI and do not consider West Gym to be worthy of hosting that dual. The McCloud Center would be the only place I can think of on campus that would have the capacity for this event.
You all might remember that we did wrestle UNI in the McLeod Center about 10-15 years ago. Was actually a pretty competitive meet, as I recall. Seemed to work well as a venue.

I was at that meet. Pretty sure it was the week the McLeod Center opened.
I think it was in 06-07 and I remember it being much closer than I thought. UNI had the Ettleson's and Moza Fay that year.
I watched Iowa vs UNI at the McCloud Center back in the day. Seemed like a fine venue to me.

I was under the impression that UNI was only willing to host Iowa in the West Gym.
Well, that doesn't work. Iowa wrestlers are too highborn to set foot in that rubber suit of hot hellness. I would make my boy camp out for front row at that one.
