PD3

Something we can agree on. I believe PD3 is 8-0 and therefore qualifies as a silver standard so is likely assured of a national birth no matter what. He is saving himself. Who is the unfortunate guy that gets him in the semis or quarters. I feel for poor Gabe if it is him;)

His approach is contrary to everything I love about this sport. He wouldn't be getting away with it if ISU wasn't a raging dumpster fire this year.

Go over to CyFan and read the Pitt/ISU wrestling thread. Pd2 is all over the place. Goes from name calling other ISU posters, and calling out the ISU wrestlers to talking about his sons black jack skills at the casino and how he hasn't talked to him in weeks. He hopes his son is avoiding the bong and drinking on social media. This was supposed to be his Hodge year after all. Is he reaching out for help? Yikes

I would venture a guess that there is a direct connection between ISU results and Dooney's occasional presence in the room.

Can we get pinters to translate?

You seem to be confused. Pinters is no translator. Get him involved and then you will force us pinters translators to work overtime. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he has some wize words to throw at this thread.:)

His Dad got on ISU complaining that he didn't have enough wins to get ranked...that the rankers had it wrong because he had the minimum five wins at 184. Turns out, one of his wins was against somebody from Grandview so it doesn't count.

LOL Math is hard. And with so many divisions, who can be expected to keep track of all opponents' school status?

Will Mcribblet try and write the season off as medical hardship to wrangle another year of "eligibility?"

More like mental hardship. Too bad.

Judging by his twitter the rumors about suspension are true I'm sure Dresser is not willing to put up with him either

He doesn't understand that the coach is not going to reward the thug that didn't wrestle this year & made poor choices off the mat. Stupid is as Stupid does.

The only way he can transfer to another D1 school would be if he got a degree(not sure if he is in track or not) and transferred to a school that has a graduate degree that ISU doesn't offer. This is what Russell Wilson did to transfer to WI. Otherwise he is done at D1 correct?

I was going to ask that since he was at Nebraska first but I believe you're right. I think he knows this because one of his tweets he mentioned having to get through summer school before transferring

No, summer session is the only time ISU offers "Animal Husbandry" in their Animal Science Program.

I have made no bones that I think he acts like a puke. I also realize who his Dad is and try to keep that in mind. His twitter today I think buried his chances about ever wrestling again in college. As much as I don't like the way he acts I do feel bad for him. He is a great talent. How about him coming to Iowa next year and cannot use any social media and his Dad is barred. Would give us a 184!

Can't say I feel sorry for someone who do blatantly does this kind of thing to themselves but the PD2 and newer PD3 model to Iowa city would be interesting

You can PM anytime. You can call too, I'm always available for any wrestling board member. I'll enlighten you and change your life.

I don't claim to have the power to enlighten or transform, but 185 ug of the Family's secret recipe sure does. Accept no substitutes.

NY - I agree on not feeling sorry. The kid has had more chances than about any athlete I know. And he surely doesn't help himself and his Dad can be beyond crazy. But I would like him in the room at a minimum for his talent and aggressiveness. Just keep him on a tight leash.

Couldn't cut it at Nebraska or Iowa State. He has no chance of making it at Iowa.

Like him in which room? I hope you aren't talking about the Hawks room.

Don'r forget PD3 comes with the added baggage of PD2. The father is mentally unstable and the son appears to be cut from the same cloth. Why would you wish that toxic combo/mess/trainwreck/instagramming partier on ANYONES wrestling room?

This. Why anyone would think he would be an asset to any program is beyond comprehension.
