Another case of not being able to coach now that everyone can pay players.
He can’t cheat like he used to. Guy was always one of the biggest cheats in the game.
Cheating aside, Pitino is only widely considered by coaches to be one of the best basketball coaches of all-time
Yep. I know. But I can't get over his cheating. Having the best players goes a long way. He's also in 70s so I'm not sure how much he will adapt at this point. He could prove me wrong, though.
I'm just not sure why he's flamethrowing here. Throwing the players under is not a good look but then complaining about the facilities? He knew what they had before he got there.
I feel like facilities and roster makeup are something he should have had a grasp on prior accepting the position. But who am I to question?
He already brought in essentially an entirely new roster, 10 or 11 new players. Now he is bitching about them.
He has always been a self-centered jerk, but it has never been so obvious.
