Well to be fair, the Husker defense was bad last year. Iowa's defense was solid. Thus, you have seen improvement out of the Husker defense but I don't think anyone is going to claim its championship caliber at this point.
Not a huge improvement. Secondary got better by as much as the defensive line got worse. The linebackers being healthy makes it somewhat better. Wisky and OSU will run all over that defensive line.

Point out the elite talent. King and CJ will be drafted for sure, Jaleel just because of his size, Jewel maybe. We are missing studs on both lines. Unless they make great strides 8-4 is very probable. Since we have burned some shirts, give those guys some meaningful snaps also.
I thought James Daniels looked pretty good yesterday. I am no pro when it comes to o-line, but he stood out to me.
He is doing great, but is still not there. Even if he and the right guard are NFL quality , the tackles have to get better.
We actually moved the ball better against Northwestern than Oregon, and if we don't fumble the ball on the goal line twice, we score more points against Northwestern too.
