I’ve never said this should be shrugged off. If you feel drag shows should better advertise the content in them, I’m cool with that. If parents still take their kids to these shows, then go after the parents.
It shouldn’t be on the trans community to disavow shows that aren’t generally meant for the mainstream anyways.

There are several examples in this thread of obvious men dressed up as women that no one remotely cares about.
Everyone knew Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis we were men dressed as women, same as Dustin Hoffman…. Those examples of drag shows are ludicrous!

Yes. What you're ignoring is those drag shows (the vast majority) that have no nudity or are any more sexually provacative than a non-drag show being subjected to a threat of a felony. Why are you OK with this double standard? Why is it OK for the Dallas Cowbot cheerleaders to perform in front of kids but Ru Paul reading Green Eggs and Ham to a kids class is considered felonious?
