This dual just proved what a lot of hawks fans have been saying, this team just isn’t there at this time.

dean pushed the pace quite a bit. starocci was more aggressive than kem and fresher at the end.

So if Kem gets the win like he should have, who wins on criteria? This should be 16-16. The Hawks battled hard and I'm optimistic for the rest of the season. Go Hawks!
You could argue Dean did once he had to actually fight back, but at the same time........Warner also had to get out of his comfort zone to get that lead in the first place.
Maybe if he wrestled like that more often, he would get used to that pace he initially brought and be able to finish against someone he outwrestled for most of that match @okinburg1
Injuries matter. Particularly in wrestling.

great job by cassioppi. honestly, should have won this dual. wrestled well considering.
Man, so many close matches. We are closer than I thought. ADS needs to finish, JE Kemdog right there, Warner needs more gas, so close.
Guys get banged up, stop bringing up injuries. Too many hawks are gassing late or just lackluster in their movements.
I think they simply go back to what team had the first takedown... Which would be PSU
It does suck. We give up 4 with our 3rd string 125. Spencer for sure gets a major and that makes the final 17-15 us at worse.

Not sure, for some reason Cass seems to have his number. Kirk can do absolutely nothing on bottom.
I disagree. This dual showed that Iowa is right there in the thick of things but they need to win those close matches. No doubt PSU is the favorite, but Iowa has a chance.
Disappointing but not unexpected. Good dual. Missed Ayala. (Missed Spencer.) Good to see Marinelli with some offense. Nice match by Cass.

It went by paper pretty much with the exception of Cass stepping up. Would still like him to get the weight up to 250 to 255.
