Can't imagine the Fossil-In-Chief allowing Lester to make any significant innovations.
I think it's a little soon to make this assumption. The damage done to this offense can't be undone in one season, but it will be clearer within the first few games how much of a difference Lester can make over the longer term. I think the bigger issue may be the fact that a significant segment of the offensive staff remains in place from the last few years. Kirk failing to make any unforced changes was disappointing in that regard.

If by proven you mean proven to be made of glass and proven to be a slow-moving train wreck, I would say you’ve proven to be correct.

SIAP but Chad and Scott brought up Joe Labas on their podcast today. Said he ran for two TDs and threw for four others, or something like that, in CMU’s spring game.

Good for him! Hope Spencer lights it up too. Most of all I want iowa to find someone who can light it up under Lester’s watch. No reason we cant bring out the potential of players now, just need ones not named deacon
