Bo said his final 4 were PSU, Okie st, Iowa, and VT. He said the NIL numbers were laughable and the programs offers were very comparable.
Several non Iowa fanbases scoff at the thought of their programs shelling out significant NIL $. Most notably PSU and Okie St fans. I find it hard to believe the several Okie St transfers didn’t get plenty. JMO

It's not an opinion, it's a fact.
This is an open market right now, and while compensation is not the only thing, it is almost always very important. Penn State doesn't have 3x as many studs as the next closest team without them dishing out serious money. They're coached to say that they turned down more money, and are never going to admit that they made a choice because of the money. It's all a propaganda/PR campaign that some people are actually dumb enough to believe.
I just enjoy you thought what he did 3 years ago when he was still on the college roster and rehabbing from major knee surgery has anything to do with today.

I heard most of Penn State's studs had to pay Carl to let them join while turning down hundreds of thousands of $ from Iowa!

Bo Bassett, the top prospect in the 2026 class, named his top 4 earlier today: Penn State, Iowa, Oklahoma State, and Virginia Tech.
It won't be a long wait until he announces his choice either -- he plans to make the announcement during his dual meet tomorrow.

The most well-known high school wrestler of all-time, Bo Bassett, announced a Final 4 and announcement details Monday.
So what time are we thinking this announcement will be tomorrow? Need to get the champagne and tall building ready to be prepared for either outcome
I saw some place it would be announced at the end of his wrestling meet tomorrow. So does that mean sometime later evening?
From what I recall from the interview this morning the meet doesn't start until 7pm so we're probably looking at 8-8:30pm (guesstimate)
If you don't want to miss it watch the dual at 7pm ET the McCort team is full of studs. Can watch some good wrestlers and watch the announcement after
I would also guess that McCourt ends a lot of matches early, so the dual end time could be volatile

Thinking Jax and Mocco are coming to Iowa City. Obviously Melvin committing next year but Iowa City has a few more surprises coming.
Sitting very good with the raneys too.
And, I personally know Mocco is down to a few select schools and Iowa is one of them. And, he just crossed off Okie State.
In addition to their wrestling ability and potential, what intrigues me about the Moccos is whether it brings Steve back into the Iowa program. We've talked ad nauseam about getting guys who are true difference-makers into the program/RTC as assistants, etc. Steve's still young and would certainly add a huge training weapon to the upper-weight arsenal.
Something tells me Steve coming back to Iowa is wishful thinking. He has a good thing going in FL and lives right on the water. But I guess you never know.
If Jax chooses Iowa tomorrow, hopefully that sways Mocco to jump on board. We know Mocco is not going to Okie State and PSU has Mirosola next in line.
What year is the other Mocco? Class of 27 or 28? Any chance little brother will be a 197 pounder?
Was Bo Bassett’s main club Young Guns? I know he trained alot in his home facility but was Young Guns his most visited club? Who are the top recruits in the PA Young Guns Club besides the Bassets and Melvin?
