Hey, listen, I'm playing with you and clearly struck a nerve. Sure, Jax didn't go to Iowa (wow, you earned a low hanging point) but your recent "no shot" comment and "Nebraska is far and away the second-best program" comment served as its own douche alert. But, when want to be respected as a reliable source of information and then come on to a forum that gets thousands of views, your opinions and tea leaf statements hurt your credibility. I'm not in a group of one with this thinking. And your "douche" comments make you look silly because you are a voice of the sport and call it a job. I'm just an anonymous poster with some reliable, inside information. On a lot of things, you're all over the place and you let your fandom shape your comments, er opinions, er reporting. At least I'm clear that I'm an Iowa fan first and foremost and people expect to read some bias into my comments. You can swallow this medicine or not, I honestly don't care, but maybe now you can understand your reputation with a huge fan base. I said I was teasing with you, and I do think you offer some good info but sometimes I'm not sure if that comes from information you have from reliable, nurtured relationships or because you throw a lot of crap against the wall and sometimes it sticks. I will say, I'm not calling you a Mineo, take that as a consolation. But with the Raneys and Mocco, it's more than tea leaves from me.
And click-bait is not a part of my job. Doesn't Nebraska have a forum?
Again, there's not that much of a difference when you talk wrestling and report. When you report, that is talking wrestling. Now if you always reported and said something like, wow, I was hearing Bo would go to PSU and it's officially Iowa....then maybe people would be able to differentiate when you have or don't have insider information. When you report on developing stories, and not just results, it's really blurry...especially when you are talking wrestling with a group of fans of team of which you're not. Oh, but you love Morningstar, how endearing!
