MVP might very well be right but I think the point is that they are juniors in high school and might be as many as 6 years away from their last NCAA tournament. 132 & 138 this year, let’s say 138 & 144 next. Suddenly 157 doesn’t sound so crazy down the road. Not by a long shot.
They are short, don’t know why they think they are getting so big. I was fully grown by end of junior year, and wasn’t an early puberty kid. I think they are adopted so can look at the parents to make predictions.I don’t think any bigger than 41 and 49 in college
Depends where they commit 😏Where will they be ranked p4p next year?
Thank you. As a Hawks fan, it’s embarrassing to read that shite,I think those of you on here who like to spout out with pedophile crap make our fan base look weak. It makes it look like we have to play that card since we can't compete with Penn State. We play that card and we play the "Cael's cheating" card far too often likely because we're getting our asses kicked by them. I wish everyone would let that shit die and focus on the ways we can get back in the saddle and beat those fu**ers (guys)...or focus on the incredible kids we have in the program this year and the promise we see for next year and beyond. I think getting Bo Bassett was a great start and am hoping we receive other good recruiting news going forward that will eventually propel us back to the top of what I think will be a very tight 3-way race in the next couple years. Go Hawks!
Just something to think about, but Cenzo and Kemerer wrestled 138 their junior years. Would use the David Taylor example, but I figured where that would end up with this crowd lol. They are miles away from being college 149/157. You gotta be walking around near 170 to be a 157. People were talking about Rathjen maybe being 165 and he isn't even big enough to be a legit 157 after 4 years in college.
To be fair to Kemerer he went to 174 for our team. Marinelli, Kaleb Young and Kemerer were all natural 165 pounders. Kaleb sucked down to 157 for the team and Kemerer, since he had a bigger frame than Marinelli, went up to 174.Just something to think about, but Cenzo and Kemerer wrestled 138 their junior years. ??? Kemerer went to 174 because he was that big. You think if he wanted to go 165 Marinelli was stopping him?To be fair to Kemerer he went to 174 for our team. I'm extremely curious how these to will do in the big ten.

color me shocked.Penn St. flipped #4 overall Jayden James from VTech
Yes, their season is over. There are lots of people waiting...Has there been any whispers about the Raney brothers the last few weeks. Man they would fit right in, I love how the get after it.
Waiting patiently 🤪Yes, their season is over. There are lots of people waiting...
Jayden James flipped from VT to Penn State. Top level recruit.
He is very very good!Jayden James flipped from VT to Penn State. Top level recruit.
Penn State is continuing to load up. Hopefully Bassett helps draw in some big time recruits as well for Iowa.
It’s possible but I think in wrestling the coaches are the draw while football it seems the players have a lot of pull. Probably the nature of the sport and the differences between them . Either way it never hurts to get great recruits, I’m pretty sure Bassett will be a hammer.Penn State is continuing to load up. Hopefully Bassett helps draw in some big time recruits as well for Iowa.

Yes waiting for that Bassett pull to start happening. I know it was said Bassett, his bro and Melvin Miller were a package. Would be great to get something from Miller to start off the 27 class as well. Really need the Raneys.Penn State is continuing to load up. The flip to PSU alone might catapult him to #1. I mean would anyone be surprised.Penn St. flipped #4 overall in class of 26 Jayden James from VTech
He’s a (rare these days) 16 year old junior - plenty of time to jump levelsThe flip to PSU alone might catapult him to #1. I mean would anyone be surprised.
who would want him? major disappointment.
passit would be a great marketing tool if chittum comes to iowa and reaches his potential. he is darn good, just needs better coaching. They have cost him a couple big wins. bring him back to Iowa City..
All I see is osu and psu making moves after NCAA’s and nothing from Iowa.
So landing ono and flipping James is no big deal?Man, no activity 4 days after the NCAAs?????? Shut the program down. lol
