Guy lived forever it seems. Always looked the same. Looked old in 1970’s
He was over in China earlier this year probably helping them cover up some atrocity
Gotta be honest, I kinda liked the old curmudgeon. Sometimes diplomacy is with the pen, and sometimes with the heel of the boot.
Yeah.
He was a complex character. A ruthless genius who helped kill lots of people for 'Murica.
No he wasn’t. He wasn’t in Cambodia. He wasn’t in Laos. And he most certainly wasn’t in China!
Yes, he was a war criminal
His passing reminds me of simpler times when it was just the West and the Reds. Developing nations knew their place. Terrorists didn't bring down skyscrapers.

Finally someone that understands good politics.
Every Secretary of State since Kissinger is a war criminal if Kissinger is a war criminal. Weird how he seems to get all the criticism.

Then he texted me a picture of a glass of scotch he poured himself. My dad doesn't drink, I don't know if I've ever seen him even have a glass of wine, he hates beer and liquor is unheard of. He has always been scared to death he'd turn into his dad (who was an alcoholic POS). He had a dram of my grandma's favorite scorch to celebrate Kissinger finally dying.
That's how much my dad hated Kissinger.

Carpet bombing campaign of Vietnam. Laos, Cambodia,. The war was lost and compare it in some respects to what Russia does. Just keep shelling hoping to break an enemy‘s resolve. Kill enough civilians to get better terms. A lot of those targets had low military value.
