RU matches up fairly well with us and out of all the teams in the league, including Illinois, I really get the feeling that Rutgers does not like Iowa.

Our recent meetings have been close and hard fought. I don’t expect anything like a 16 point margin. T-rank prediction is Iowa by 6. 5 or 6 seems about right to me. Pikiell is good.

I don’t have any insider information but I do know Gary’s brother pretty well and I know Gary loves Fran.. I would heavily assume Gary views Fran as the guy “should get a chance to fix it”

I don't think the opponent matters. Unless Iowa gets lights out 3 point shooting from Jbo and Joe W., I don't see a game they should be favored in on the schedule outside of Nebraska. The half court offense resembles me trying to dance at a hip hop club.

This will be the best defense we’ve faced since Illinois (#13). Better than IU (#23) and much better than OSU (#65).

Offensively, they’re similar in transition to Illinois. Worrisome. Overall offense most similar to IU. Have to make sure Baker and Jr. don’t get shots in rhythm because they can hit them.

Bracket Matrix still pegs us as a 3 seed, which would mean a 14 seed, then a six against the likes of Creighton or Kansas or Va Tech. Yes I think we could win 2 games minimum as we have already beaten: Projected 5 seed Purdue, 6 seed Rutgers, 9 seed Minnesota, and 10 seed UNC. We just played 1 seed OSU down to the wire, and 2 seed Illinois to the wire. Indiana is projected to make the field currently as well, and our fans are acting as though they are a 5 win team. It's quite bizarre to see how shaken our fanbase is, I wish I could hug all of you.

I am curious to see if Fran doubles down and goes status quo or if he had a moment of intellectual sobriety against IU and recognized "his guys" aren't getting it done. If he doesn't recognize the need to get Ulis, Perkins and Joe T. to help with D, then he is clearly as delusional as Lickliter was about his coaching skills.
