I wouldn't get too cocky. They're got a freshman QB that looks better than any we have. They're going to improve a lot between now and week 13
I don't think too many programs would be interested in Rhule at this point. Needs to do something at Debbie.
I'm not thinking Iowa superiority over them. Ferentz has ensured Iowa's second tier level as long as he's in Iowa City. Their wisdom to recruit a QB with that kind of talent separates them from programs like Iowa.
Someday a coach with energy and dynamism will take over at Iowa and we will see excitement return to Kinnick. Throw the damned ball down the field. Run plays in 5 seconds instead of 25 seconds. Concentrate recruiting on WRs instead of OLs. OLs and OLs. Spend the time it takes recruiting topflight QBs.

I was impressed with Altmeyer. He is a real QB too.Nebby lost last night but they're definitely improved under Rhule and will continue to improve. Raiola is a real QB.

That freshman QB tries to copy everything Mahomes more than any person has tried to copy anyone else in the history of this planet. I’m shocked I haven’t gotten a Bleacher Report notification yet (I follow KC) that he’s trying to practice talking or sneezing like Mahomes yet. It’s okay to mimic your favorite player’s game, but when you’re literally trying to be everything that person is, it’s gotten too weird. Time to take the costume off.
Riaola has a great arm but is really slow of foot. After last night, middle pressure really seemed to get him rattled.

Matt Rhule is in his 12th year as a head football coach (3 NFL, 9 CFB) and has never beat a team that made the NFL playoffs or a top 20 team in CFB. He is the best Nebbie could get and is a perfect match for that sh*tshow in Lincoln.

So will all the teams. Debbie isn't the only team that gets better. In fact last season at 5-3, they got worse and lost four games in a row to go 5-7. Their seventh losing season in a row.
Maybe Kirk will retire after becoming the winningest big ten coach in history. Kirk is tied for second right now.

Nebraska fans and media have been talking about having such an easy schedule this year. How they would go 7-0 going into the Ohio State game. LMAO if they lose to Purdue, Rutgers or Indiana.
