Nobody is saying they can’t do whatever they want. However they can’t have their cake and eat it to. We all have choices to make. For every action there’s a reaction, correct? I guess if the Saudis buy all the best players sponsors and TV execs might have a decision to make. Right now it’s a sham. And would 1 of them have the balls to come out and say they did it for the money? I’d have a lot more respect for them if they did. DJ talking about providing for his family. Lol. That was a really good article. For a guy like Perez it’s absolutely a no-brainer to join LIV. If LIV limits its tournaments to 48 guys I don’t see it making a dent in the PGA. I don’t see why the two can’t co-exist.

How many stories have you read about pro athletes going bust? For some of those guys LIV money can guarantee their income won’t drop off due to injury, slumps, etc.
They’ve made it clear it’s all about the money. Fine. But then don’t whine when you can’t play Ryder Cup or other PGA tournaments. Just go away and play in obscurity where nobody will know how to watch you.
Who is whining at this point? There was always going to be legal battles in regards to the PGA Tour. Rahm and Rory have already said they want the two sides to work together. Rory wants the Saudi money in golf.

And I fully admit my reaction is emotional not rational, but guess what? That is sports fandom in general.
I'm not a golf fan, but I do watch all the majors and the Ryder Cup. All regular events are either on Network TV, the golf channel or ESPN, correct? If a casual golf fan decided he wanted to watch a Liv event it's not easy. Obviously if you are a golf fan and want to go to YouTube or wherever they are on and want to stream it fine. I think most big golf fans are over 40. Possibly over 50. Guessing they aren't big streaming guys. Could be wrong. If the ratings are high for their events I'll eat my words.
I don’t disagree with that at all. They seem to want the guaranteed LIV money and all the cherries and whipped cream of the PGA tour. At the end of the day they each have to live with their choices.
True, most people don't care enough to watch the 3M this week either. The majors get people to watch, which is not the PGA Tour.
