Dennis wins his first round match 6-0 against Jon Morrison. Has Waters next in the quarters should be coming up soon I think. Hope he dominates him.
Also Buraks brother Micah Burak just beat Dave Zabriskie 5-1, was tied 1-1 late (about :45 secs to go) with Zariskie winning on criteria, when he jacked up double unders, threw one by and went behind him, then as he was running him out of bounds pulled him into himself and threw him for 4. Really nice sequence.
Chael Sonnen also commenting on mat 1, hes pretty knowledge about wrestling & he was an AA back in his day.
Dennis coming up in the semis on mat 2, very soon. Hes facing Coleman Scott. Hazewinkel and Colon is the other semi.
Dennis beats Coleman Scott 3-2 in the semis! On to the finals vs Hazewinkel
Telford got beat by Fortune but has come back strong on the back side and will be wrestling for third.
double d is like fine wine, he gets better with age. very happy for Daniel. by the way ness will place somewhere below him.
Ness is wrestling at 65 KG too, but yeah hes definitely not in the finals at 65. Not saying it will happen, but what if Dennis knocked off Ramos and/McDonough (if hes recovered by the trials?) to make the olympic team. How crazy would that whole story be. His high school career, college career including the dramatic finish his SR year. How much he improved and got to where he is now.
