***Session III Thread***

What an awesome comeback for TG. Down 5-1, never gave up. Scores two with 15 seconds left in 3rd, then a takedown in OT to win. Great win.

West Virginia's unseeded Zeke Moisey defeats Klimara. Moisey and Gilman in semis tonight.

That was the most gutsy match I have seen from a Hawkeye wrestler in a while. Gilman won that match on pure guts and toughness and will. Dance was clearly the better wrestler, but Gilman just willed himself to win!

Offense! Offense! Offense!

Hats ogg to TG!
If fairness, so long as he was wrestling all out Dance was dominating. He tried to stall it out in the 3rd and for once it cost him.

Some of you need to quit bitching all the time and just let the matches play out. It's not like Dance was some fish, he's a stud and Gilman had his hands full.

Great win, Gilman has a very good chance at being in the finals now with Garrett out
I agree. Sometimes I think people act like when were losing it is always on us. It's like we sometimes we forget there is a very good opponent who has something to do with the outcome.

Huge win, the body lock was there like it often is and he took it.. We need to do that shit a lot more. As the taller wreslter use that, it is an advantage!

Looks like Gilman's getting dominated, down 5-1 in the 2nd. Bummer.
Presuming that you did not watch the match? 5-1 does not = dominated, especially in the second.

A takedown in the first, escape in the second already gives them 3, so just another takedown...exactly what happened in this match.

Is a two takedown lead really domination? Hell, maybe it is in these days of stalling.

Hmmm, so you are saying if staying on your offense helps you win?

Good God. Cynical much?

Gilman vs. Hall on Mat #4.

Great scramble and Gilman comes out on top, getting the takedown to go up 2-0.

Sure, Dance got off his offense with that lead, but he did not stall, at least not to the point of what we complain about consistently on here. He kept wrestling, just without aggression, and yes that, and Gilman, you know, being very good, got him.

Clark looking very good on his feet - moving the other guy around and constantly working setups.

Yes, win in quarter round and you are an AA.
Some people are either very new to tournaments in general or are not good at math.

Hall escapes with 30 seconds left in the third, so it's 6-1 now. Clark has RT. Needs a TD for the major. Has a single leg, but time runs out.

Clark wins 7-1.

He will face Jimmy Gulibon in the semifinals.

Clark wrestles Guillibon next. Guillibon upset Taylor from Wisconsin. I think we will see a finals match between Clark and #13 seed Brewer from Okie.

Put me in the first category. I probably could have done the math, but just asking a question seemed easier.

I do think Brewer has a great chance of beating Dardanes. He is having a great tourney although his #13 seed is a joke.
