SJSU responds to volleyball player mass exodus after trans athlete scandal rocked program

No, they don't. Fleming was a good player, not a great player. SJSU didn't even make it to post season play. Colorado State won the conference and they lost in the first round. SJSU was not a great team and Fleming was not their top player.

You initially said "simply an ok player". Now you're saying "a good player".

The Mountain West Conference awarded two players from SJSU with all conference honors. Fleming was one of them.

Attempts to minimize the impact are laughable.

She has OK stats on a team that faced one team total that went to the NCAA tournament that lost in the first round. The mountain west is a complete joke when it comes to volleyball. SJSU would get swept by any team with a pulse.

As I said, Fleming is a very poor example of why trans women should not be allowed to compete in women's sports, but I'm hoping that the NCAA ends the practice of allowing trans women from competing in women's sports.

When a spot is taken away/playing time is taken away from someone else it is NOT a "poor example of why trans women should not be allowed to compete in women's sports".

Yeah, it really is. The governing body of the league has preset standards for trans athletes to meet, and Fleming met all of those standards.

Nothing will change that for you, I'm not even trying to. It's totally up to the NCAA on how they choose to proceed.

Just seeing on how one OK player out of over 6,000 in NCAA I has triggered the nation, it's clear to me what needs to be done.
The only response needed to assholes like you on this topic is **** off.

Twisting words and meanings. Gaslighting people. Dozing those that don't agree.

**** off. People are done with it.

I haven't seen a drubbing like this in a long time. Worried about @lucas80.

Almost 230000 NCAA women athletes. Less than ten are transgender. This is a state and local issue. Not much the NCAA can do.
As far as transferring out. I’m sure the athletes got sick of the drama. And rather focus on volleyball.

Your "logic" is upside down and ignores the negative impact on roughly 50% of the population, females. Why allow someone else to start with a biological advantage in any physical contest? Having boys play other boys and not v. girls is NOT trans bigotry...it is basic fairness...for the other females. But it is clear that you cannot see it.

Your "anti-trans" screed is a giant smokescreen.
50 percent of all women have suffered because an LGBTQ citizen felt good about themself and got to participate in a sport? Why not state sports associations handle this in tandem with parents and athletes?
Why is it only male to female that bothers you?
Where does it end for you? I'm asking, where does it end for you? Sports only? When the gender cleansing people go after the ability to be called by your preferred name regardless of assignment at birth will you say that is too far? What about medical treatments a doctor and patient agree on? Are you going to raise your hand and say no when the gender cleansers go for that? They already are, by the way. The ability to marry whoever you love?

Lot's of words there ^^, but your confusion is still evident. When one person's "rights" limit another person's opportunity...that is where I start and stop. Every male that is on a female team minimally takes away a spot from an otherwise deserving female. Those aren't rights.

You are simply flailing and all the trans people in the world can play sports v. the same gender, everyone can participate, no one is excluded.

Where does it end for you? Feel free to answer any of the questions I asked the old wrestling fan. When do you raise your hand and say, "That's too far"? When do you stand up and say no to the people who want to cleanse away anyone who does not conform to their idea of gender?
How does this affect you personally? Isn’t that what you always ask?

To answer your question….I don’t think banning men from competing in women’s sports is “too far”. Why do you?

19 people on the roster this year, 6 of them are seniors, leaving them 13 returning.

I would say that over half your returning roster transferring is a mass exodus

I notice that in the fair and balanced story by Fox it doesn’t mention how many of the athletes transferred because they didn’t want to be on the same team as a trans citizen.
It’s almost like Fox is pushing fear and Northern is amplifying it without details. I’ve been told by Northern that details matter.

Unsurprisingly you avoided my question. I answered yours.:.

Wait, you expect the girls to publically state their reason?

Between drawing the ire of leftwing internet psychos, future schools handing out volleyball scholarships and employers who would blacklist them, one shouldn't find silence surprising.

I hope you understand that both sides created a cause and a victim.

Transgender didn't just appear after gay marriage became legal, but suddenly laws were proposed or created regulating bathrooms and healthcare decisions.

Conservatives needed a new social issue and liberals reacted to discrimination.

How is it trans bigotry to not want former men playing on a women’s team? I support trans people’s right to live their life as they see fit. They are human and deserving of compassion and fair treatment as any other person. But that shouldn’t mean they should be free to impose their genetic advantages on female athletes.

Conflating fairness in sport with bigotry is just stupid…and you are not stupid.
Lucas claims to care about women except when he doesn't.

This is such a simple issue, yet, Lucas and GoHawks50 think the women on the teams are in the wrong. Both sides you know

Imo, sports bans are just a test. If you can ban them from sports, you can start banning them from bathrooms, and then you can start banning affirmative care and basically outlawing trans people altogether.

We saw this in Iowa. Reynolds banned trans athletes. But then immediately went after their healthcare after the sports ban worked.

To me, it's clear that sports is just a way in to all this banning.
Add Huey to the list of stupidity, Lucas and GoHawks50

what actual facts?
Fact: The NCAA sets the standards for trans female athletes to be able to compete.
Fact: Fleming met all of these requirements to compete.
Fact: I have stated multiple times that I expect the NCAA to revisit this issue and stop allowing these women from competing, and I think they should.
Fact: Fleming had Good/Fair stats but played against poor competition.
Fact: Fleming was not the best player on the team.
Fact: SJSU was not a very good team.
Fact: Volleyball does not have a roster size limit.
Fact: Fleming did likely keep another female player off of scholarship at SJSU.
Fact: Fleming was a poor example to use to argue that trans female athletes shouldn't be allowed to compete on women's teams. An OK player on a not very good team, that had an OK record playing against very poor competition.
Fact: Fleming was a better example of proof that the standards set by the NCAA are actually working.
Fact: Nothing that I just stated will change your mind one bit, and I'm perfectly OK with that.

The issue isn’t how good Fleming was. The issue is that a biological male who identifies as female took a scholarship and a roster spot that were intended for an actual female. And actual females were forced against their wishes to share a locker room and hotel rooms with a biological male. And an assistant coach who filed a complaint about this was suspended indefinitely and will most likely lose her job.

Fleming’s stats aren’t really the problem here.
