You made a lot of assumptions about me. I’m a fiscal conservative. I also want to stem the tide of illegal immigration. Part of that is making it easier for the people who are already productive in the US to become legal citizens. Kicking them all out is both impractical and expensive. Get rid of the bad apples, but keep the ones that are hard working and willing to contribute vs. take.
I also am fine with higher prices personally…I voted for Harris and did not buy into Trump’s bullshit story that he can bring prices down. I’m well off and can afford to pay more for all my services. My point about prices is that they will go up if you remove 5-10 million low cost workers. That is exactly the opposite of what Trump voters expect.
Targeting is what will create a massive gap in the service-oriented economy.
And supercharge inflation for you.

My parents were invited to emigrate in the 60's. They had to wait two years and back then they had to take a bunch of health exams including tb etc.

We did all this shit legally. We had to wait and wait and wait. I'm a supporter of legal immigration.
When I was a law student, I did immigration law as one of my practical areas to gain experience. Many of my clients came here as legal asylees but it was also obvious that some were gaming the system.
I have contributed much to my American homeland and as you can see in my other thread, ready to hire more within Iowa. I hope I don't get deported just because I am brown.
