So, took the day off. Watched a lot of b-ball. No teams starting 4 white guys. Team starting 4 white guys=NIT; starting more black guys=NCAA.

I want more athletic players regardless of race but even Yale has 2 black starters which is more than Iowa has. When the team is that overwhelmingly white it makes it harder to land the good black players who might otherwise consider the hawksDid you watch YALE beat Auburn today?

A white team would never be allowed to win it all. Blacks have to have basketball.
Is this the same principle for the NFL? How many black coaches are running NFL teams and why do they have to have some type of mandatory interview system? Stupid subject! Why does the prison system have more of one color than the other? Go away...
Not going to argue the run/jump advantage of blacks. But that alone isn't enough to explain the percentages in the sport. There would be a lot more elite white bball players if white guys funnelled into bball the way black guys do. The parents of white and asian kids generally emphasize academics and careers over sports, and those that do encourage youth sports are pushing them into all sorts of shit like swimming, wrestling, hockey, golf, tennis, soccer, baseball. Now your pool of skilled white or asian basketball players has thinned quite a bit.
How many sucessful black college fb head coaches have there been? I think you can count them on one hand. Interesting how my thought is racist while op's is not.

Yet accurate. Teams starting 4 whites and are excellent teams are outliers. Most of the time you won't see them in the Final Four, unless you have a giant in the middle like Eady.

didn't we lose to Auburn last year? Maybe if you start 4 white guys they need to be Yale level smarter than our guys or our coach needs to be smarter.
Yeah, ISU is using the portal a million times better than Iowa. Most of those portal guys are black. Fran needs to change his ways and go to the portal.
I mean the conversation was about top 100 Black players on Iowa, which ISU has one sitting the bench. They seem to have struck gold with a hometown PG that was a lifelong ISU fan, that would be nice here.
