I expected the Red gains to be better, little surprised on some of the Blue gains. But why?
Did the R's run too hard on crime or "stop the steal"? Hell, people here called out "whats the plan besides owning the Libs?", does this prompt the Rs to start working on defined governing plans again?
Did the R's show their hands too early on abortion? Are they out of step with the general public?
Did the R's misjudge the general public's interest in Trump? Is it a sign that the GOP needs to follow suit and stop kowtowing to Trump?
Did the R's misplace blaming Joe for inflation?
Did the Dems not support some of the close races like they should have? e.g. Ohio? Or did the D's put the right pressure in the right areas?
Did the D's fumble forwards in areas (e.g CO and Boebert)?
Did the D's message register better than expected?
How do you counsel the party to prep for 2024?
