Solution to CFP Chaos

No more CFP no more BCS ..

Bring back the Bowl Games.

Everyone thought you could select a few teams and have a playoff to determine who is #1 ... yeah that's working really well. How about a conference (PAC 10) that doesn't have any team in that playoff or maybe a Big Ten Team in the same situation. What about a 13-0 team that doesn't even have a chance to go to the CFP despite having a perfect season and one of the top offenses in the country .

What if Auburn won yesterday and Alabama got voted in to the playoffs and they had to play each other again ...

Add that to the fact that a month and a half later after a huge break you line up 4 teams .., are they the same teams from 6 weeks ago?

Bottom line the CFP is just another way to add football games so the networks and conferences can make more money.

Yeah I know in the old days you had controversy too... it was all decided by rankings and votes ... but it still is really because the rankings and votes decide which 4 teams get into the CFP in the first place so what changed.

Anyway, I will never really believe that the CFP produces a true Champion all it has done is weaken the great tradition of the bowl games and countless cities across the country..

I believe things will turn out the way they should for the most part. Alabama will probably get in when they shouldn't. But to me, don't want Alabama to get in, then other teams, don't lose 2 or more games.

To me Alabama and Wisconsin are on the same level. Each 1 loss. Except Wisconsin actually played for a conf Championship, whereas Bama was 3rd in their conference

There should be a play off system with the five conference champions and three at large teams. This year it would be Bama, PSU, and UCF.

Make the first round a home game for the higher seeds as I'd love to see Bama or any of the southern schools have to play at a colder weather location:

1) OU
2) Clemson
3) Georgia
4) tOSU
5) USC
6) Bama
7) PSU
8) UCF

While not perfect, I believe the CFP is better than the old way of handling bowl games with predetermined conference tie ins. The fact that we are arguing about 4/5 is not the end of the world. At least Clemson, OU and Georgia are cut and dried.

No going back. The solution is to adopt rules to determine playoff teams..........not vote teams in based on flavor of the moment justifications.
