I have to believe that when you are talking about a NIL package in excess of a million, there are quite a few I's to dot and T's to cross. Probably performance bonus included as well as participation in post season games. All of which require pretty extensive legal review on both sides.
I would actually love it if this were the case in all of these agreements. It doesn't appear to be however given all of the players sitting out.
