South Dakota St QB Mark Gronowski visiting Iowa today, Jan 3. He won TWO Nattys, went 49-6 & threw for 10,330 yds & 93 TDs

I don’t expect Sullivan to be the starting QB because he’s not a natural thrower and you have to have that if you’re going to have a consistent offensive attack these days. I still like him situationally though.
That's exactly my thinking on Sully too! Was soooo refreshing to see an Iowa QB actually MOVE and give the D another element to think about...absolutely modernizes our attack. Yet, Sully kind of shot puts the ball, isn't really a deep throwing threat and as Kirk and others said is wound a bit tight once the tough gets going. Can he improve? Yep, but how much?

A full spring with Lester will def help, yet we need that mobility + the RPO game and a deep ball at least a few times a game. Sully is plenty quick and fast and is a super change of pace in the RZ, etc.

We have heard for 5yrs how the OL was to be better... and we still can't pass protect. Doing the same thing with the same guys and expecting a different result...
GB needs to be chit canned.

The entire starting line just needs to move on. Graduate, sell car insurance, don’t really care.

The OL has been pathetic for several years now.

My neighbors brothers uncle is married to gronowski’s mom’s second cousin’s brother in law…the scoop is he’s going to be a hawk
So many things make this unlikely:
1) Someone’s brother’s uncle is that person’s uncle, also
2) Someone married to a second cousin’s BIL would also be a second cousin
3) Two guys married to each other? NTTAWWT
Otherwise I’d totally believe this 😊

Except for in West Virginia and Mississippi where both State's laws clearly state : If it's Kin Your in

Sully would be a great backup; and it's cool that he's already stated he will be back next season

Problem with that is if you only play him situationally it’s obvious what you’re going to run when he goes in.
